LIGHT REDS ARE THE NEW BLACK.
Want in on the newest, up-and-coming style of red wine? Here’s your taste of it. While big, powerful red wines have long been celebrated, Cante Grande is your first lesson in the divine workings of light, fruity wine. Cante Grande is made from Grenache, Spain’s star grape, and one that winemakers here are having a lot of fun experimenting with. We’re making fresh, light styles that don’t hold back on the complexity. In your glass, you’ll find raspberry, plum, and pomegranate fruit followed by floral and peppery aromas.
GRENACHE IS KIND OF A BIG DEAL IN SPAIN.
In Spain, winemakers hold fast to tradition but don’t turn their back on modern innovation. Some choose to work with grapes that are only native to Spain while others embrace international varieties, curious to find out how they’ll fare on Spain’s limestone-rich clay and gravel soils. Cante Grande is a way of re-imagining classic Spanish everyday wine and a celebration of one of Spain’s star grapes: Grenache.
YOUR FOOD AND WINE PAIRING GUIDE.
Cante Grande doesn’t hold back on the fruit, and that makes it a perfect match for flavorful dishes. We’re a big fan of having a glass of Cante Grande with pot roast, taco night, falafel, and tandoori chicken.
